FAQs

When should I schedule my session?

Permitting the dates available, you can schedule your session any time you want, even if it’s months in advance. All I require is a down payment to hold your session date.

How do I make payments?

To book and lock in your session date, there is 50% down payment. You can do this as far in advance as you like. The remaining 50% must be paid one week before your session day. You can pay in one lump sum or send it in smaller increments over time, whichever is easiest for you. I accept credit cards online, cash or checks.

What happens if it rains the day of our outdoor shoot?

If it rains on the day of your shoot we can reschedule for another day. Alternatively, we can move your session to an indoor location or my studio. If it’s just cloudy but not raining, we can still shoot outdoors without a problem. Or, if you are feeling adventurous, we can do rainy shoot with a fun umbrella or raincoat.

What happens if my child freaks out?

This is a completely normal fear and I get it. Kids are unpredictable and sometimes a temper tantrum is inevitable. When this happens, we will simply take a break, allow you to calm you child down by talking/feeding/playing then take appropriate steps to easing back into the session. I will never force photos or just send you on your way. If we need to reschedule, I can do that too.

Can I share the photos on social media?

Please do! I love it when people share their photographs. I just ask that you don’t crop out the logo, give me credit, and/or that you link to me or tag me when possible. Each photo you purchase prints or digital files of comes with a web-ready sharable file for easy uploading on social media.

Do you do mini sessions?

I hold mini sessions a few times throughout the year and I’d love to have you sign up for one! I typically offer holiday mini sessions, which make for great holiday greeting cards. Follow me on social media to hear the latest news on sessions.
