I am thankful I get to live in such a beautiful place. I can see this mountain from my family room, and this beach is only a 5 minute walk away.

Thankful for cookies!

There is a saying that goes “the only thing better than having you for a parent is my kids having you as a grandparent” (or something like that). I love my parents, and am very glad they are such good grandparents and such a big part of my kids lives.

I am thankful for the post office, and the flat rate shipping they give for military packages. My husband will get a nice package in time for Christmas!

Day 20: We get a lot of clouds and rain this time of year. I am thankful for the occasional break in the clouds and for the nice starry clear nights it brings.
