We didn’t get snow for Christmas, so we had to go in search of some. An hour and a half later we ended up in Marblemount along the Skagit River. There was a pretty little park with a trail and benches to view the river. We saw several people out bird watching while we were there. I’ve heard it’s a great place to view eagles.

Anyway, this little ballerina (though I’m not sure I can call her little for much longer, she’s almost as tall as me) was such a trooper out in the snow in a leotard. A year ago we bought this lovely white camisole dress from Discount Dance. We’ve used it a couple times for photos, like when we went out for a pretty winter sunset. Today we used it out in the snow, because I love the white snow matching with the white dress. She did lots of pretty dancing, and even attempted going on pointe in the snow (which isn’t easy since snow is slippery).
